Cavait separates account access, customer workflow and tax-agency transmission so one dependency does not force every customer into a call.
Platform services
- Account creation and sign-in are being connected.
- Account access is separate from the secure tax-case save capability, which is still being connected.
- Secure document upload remains gated until its security requirements are active.
- Online checkout remains gated until payment configuration is active.
- Transactional email is still being configured.
- Cava provides plain-language routing, while human review is used when the work actually needs judgment.
Tax-agency transmission
- Direct CRA EFILE/NETFILE transmission is shown as available only after the applicable software/provider authorization is active.
- Direct IRS/state e-file transmission is shown as available only after the applicable provider credentials are active.
- Until then, a responsible tax professional can complete the filing outside the transmission API and record the acknowledgement/status in Cavait.
A dashboard status does not mean a return was filed or accepted unless an actual filing acknowledgement has been recorded.
